Colorado Rockies 4, Phillies 2...Looks familiar...All season long the Phillies have had a tough loss and come back to win the next couple games...My hope is that this is part of the same syndrome...I listened to most of the game on radio yesterday, due to business obligations...I didn't order tickets for the post-season this year, because I've paid for them twice before (2005, 2006) only to see the Phillies come up a game short...So this year I figured I wouldn't jinx them...What a lousy schedule they got handed for the first round of the playoffs...You've got a fan base in Philadelphia that is, whether we like to admit it or not, more "working class" than "blue collar," families and couples that have to work in order to afford the g.d. tickets to begin with, and then they schedule two home games at 3 p.m....So I guess in that way my decision not to buy tickets was vindicated...We even went online Sunday night and during the day Monday looking to buy tickets (the starting price by 11 a.m. Monday was around $500 for a single ticket to game one)...Now I expect the Phillies hitting to come around today (in about four hours from this writing), as it did show signs of picking up late in the game yesterday, and I bet Kyle Kendrick will give them a "quality start." And they certainly will be well-rested for Game Three, with it's 9:30 p.m. Eastern time start on Saturday night, and Game Four, at 10:30 p.m. Eastern on Sunday night, in time for a return to Citizens Bank Park for Game Five at 6:30 p.m. Eastern...It says here the Phillies win the series, 3-2...See you in the stands!
