Conan O'Brien, The Tonight Show, William Shatner, Sarah Palin, Andy Richter

As someone who was religiously addicted to The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, and then defected to CBS and David Letterman when Jay Leno (who I used to like back in the day -- I have the ticket stubs to prove it) took over the time slot -- well, I've always believed that The Tonight Show died when Leno got the job...So I was happy that Conan O'Brien, who I do like, was elevated to that time slot earlier this year...And he's had some very funny shows that I have really enjoyed...The time when "Bruno" stopped by...All of William Shatner's appearances...The return of Andy Richter (buy the Andy Barker PI DVD, that was a show that didn't get its chance either)...And this clip, which is one of the best bits I've seen on a TV "talk show" in a long time. Save Conan! (DUGOUT NOTE: NBC & Hulu have removed all traces of Conan O'Brien's stint on the Tonight Show, so I'm unable to show the clip anymore. Trust me it was wonderful.)
